Shipping policy
Grey Ogre Games ships daily from Monday to Friday with SingPost. Orders made after 10am will generally be shipped on the next available shipping day. Our mail provider does not collect packages on Public Holidays or weekends. In the event that Grey Ogre Games is unable to fulfill an order placed online entirely, an e-mail will be sent by Grey Ogre Games staff. The customer has forty eight (48) hours to respond to the e-mail indicating their preference, and in the absence of a reply, a store credit refund for the item in question will be automatically initiated.
For orders from overseas, do note that the full order value is declared to customs as part of the shipping process and any taxes and duties for the package will be the responsibility of the receiver.
For customers who select International Registered Shipping, Singapore Post - our mail provider can only guarantee tracking till the package is handed over to your local post. Based on previous experiences, they have very little influence on the package once it reaches other post systems. We do not bear any responsibility in the event that packages get stuck or lost and advise customers who want guaranteed end-to-end tracking to select our courier options instead.
Grey Ogre Games is committed to getting the cards you want into your hands in a timely fashion. Often times, there are delays - especially if you're ordering from overseas - that are outside of our control, and these typically have to do with local customs, import taxes, and fulfillment chain nuances that are opaque to us. In many jurisdictions, there is often subjectivity in terms of how Magic: the Gathering cards are interpreted by customs officials, and as a result, they may be taxed differently.
For example, customers from Malaysia have shown us multiple instances where the tax applied to inbound parcels varies wildly, anywhere from 10 to 50%, and as such, have had to have their parcels returned and alternative arrangements made. On our end, our orders are always fulfilled with using standardized nomenclature, and in the cases where it applies, a harmonized system code (HSC) is applied. Given the changing landscape surrounding public knowledge of the commercial value of trading cards, we advise that all customers be aware of the legislation surrounding the import (or export) of trading cards, and the prevailing taxation rates that may apply, before making a purchase from outside of Singapore.
Once again, it has and will always be our aim to bring the joy of trading cards to you, no matter where you may be. In that spirit, should you require any guidance, have any questions about an order that you've made or are considering, please reach out to us at: queries@greyogregames.com
